Unanswered: if statment in sql query

I am building and application in Access 2002 .adp on top of SQL Server 2000. When I used the .mdb format I was able to write if statments in my query columns that look something like this:

    TotalAmt: iif(Total>0,Total,0)

How do I do this in the column of the queries view I have of SQL in the .adp?

I am thinking I can't use "iif" statments but rather "case" statments?
