Unanswered: Open dbf table in Access

Hi, I need help to open dbf (foxpro table) in MS Access. When I try to open it, it asks me, in the second step, to find the index Dbase file. Is there a way to avoid this ?
    Thanks

You could try creating an ODBC data source and linking the table that way. It usually works for me.

AFAIK, this behavior is by design and there is no simple way to change it.

The alternatives are to leave the .DBF file permanently attached or make your own dialog box for attaching foreign files.
