Unanswered: MS Access Project problem ...

    Hi,

I have connected to the SQL server database using the Access Project but I am not able to add in rows to exisiting tables when I open up the tables for editing. No empty rows shows up at the end of the table to allow me to do so.

It works fine for new table setup.I am able to add in data for new tables.

Is this a permission issue or ...?

    Please guide...

    Thanks,

    Andy

    hi andy,

your problem is really really easy to solve:
to edit sql server data in access projects the table MUST have a primary key. it΄s not a permission thing

    :-)

    good luck
