    Question Unanswered: Oracle forms

    HI,
    I am trying to open a form in the When-button-pressed trigger using the code Call_form(formname). But when i press the button i get a message which reads " Cannot read from formname". I do not know what the actual problem is. Since i was told that this was the way to call forms. I tried using the no_hide and do_replace parameters while calling the form but that didn't work either. PLs help

    Thanks

    open_form('c:\pathname\name-of-form-no-extension');

    also make sure that the form has been compiled

    Hi it worked fine, Thanks a lot. But if i put it on the server do i have to do the same thing. everything resides in the same directory. Why can't it pick it up from there? Is this the only way to call the form (by specifying the full path)?
    Would really appreciate the answer.

    Thanks once again

    Yup it's the only way. Unless Oracle in it's infinite wisdom changes it.
