    Question Unanswered: Insertion sort algorithm for linked list

    hi everybody,
    I've got this program that i am doing actually.
    I have to use insertion sort to sort a linked list.
    i've got the length of the link list.
    The link is as follows :
    typedef struct node* link;
    struct node { int item; link next; };

    if anybody could help me ASAP, that would be great !
    thanks !

    hei ,
    it is for the 433-253 project...
    I've already done the insertion sort, and the msort...
    but my problem is that in the specs they ask for your msort' to return two lists.. i just don't understand it ..
    that's all ...
    if you could give me some details of what they actually want me to do.. that would be helpful...
