Unanswered: [ODBC][ORA][PHP] - Problem connecting to the Oracle database

    Hello everyone!

There's a problem I cannot fix. I've been trying to find a solution on various websites, but nothing helpfull turned up... The problem is this:

    Code:
SQL error: [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 2
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4200 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","TRIGGER$","sga heap","state objects")
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4200 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","unknown object","sga heap","state objects"),
SQL state S1000 in SQLConnect in D:\InetPub\wwwroot\dbconnect.php on line 2
I was wondering if you guys know something about this and maybe even had the experience or *luck* to correct this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

    Someone told me to
    Code:
    alter system flush shared_pool;
However, I do not have direct DB access, only through scripts ...

Should I forward this to the DB peep? Or do any of you have other suggestions?

Looks like you will need to increase the size of your shared pool.

If you are on 9i you can do this dynamically if you have enough sga.

If you are on 9i I would recommend that you set sga_max_size so that you can change your memory parameters at will.

    Hope this helps,
    Breen.
