    Unanswered: Drop Down box for Printing

    I have worked in the past with combo box and I have been able to succeed but I have a problem. I need to create a Down Down box that will allow me to select specific reports. I not sure that I am support to do for example:

    1. Do I create a query for each selection (6)?
    2. Do I create a report for each selection (6)?
    3. Do I create macros for each selection (6)?
    3. How do I tell the drop down box that if I click on Selection #2 to print report #2 and so on?

    I am really stuck on this drop down box request. Please HELP.

    Thanks in advance, M. Cobb

    you need 6 reports (and as many queries as are necessary to make the reports function). once your reports function correctly:

    make a combo with the wizard on
    ...type in the values that i want
    ...1 column
    nameOfReport1
    nameOfReport2
    etc

    in the _afterupdate event of the combo
    if not isnull(nameOfTheCombo.value) then
    docmd.openreport theNameOfTheCombo.value, acpreview 'or acnormal
    nameOfTheCombo.value = null

    (nameOfXxxxx to be replaced with the real names of course)
