Post Unanswered: How to execute dts from command line

    Hello Guys!

I have a problem again. (Thanks to Hotwebber all my previous problems were solved).

I have a dts file called task.dts on my d:\ drive root directrory.
How can I run it from command line with dtsrun.exe
How would the command look like if my filename is task.dts
and I'm using user "sa" with no password.

    Please help me,
    Jessica

    Hi Jessica,

the command would be the following:

    dtsrun /S "server name" /U sa /N "d:\task.dts"

This should work, if the package is availible in SQL Server.

For more information on dtsrun, just enter dtsrun on command line level!

    Hope this helps!
    Greeting,
    Carsten
