    Unanswered: sql mail

I configured sql mail (SQL Server 2000, Windows 2000, Office XP without Exchange Server). When I sent a message from the enterprise manager at the operators page, the operator actually receives the mail. But when I use xp_sendmail or mail an operator when a scheduled job fails, the operator does not receive the mail. No errors are generated as well.
When I send a mail from Outlook, there is no problem. Receiving a mail in Outlook is also without error.

    Anyone with a great idea?
