    Unanswered: Nz Fuction in access

Working with an access query that goes something like this

    select [table_name].[Field1],[table_name].[field2],[table_name].[field3]
    from table

what I want is if field3 is null to show a 0 instead.

I tried using Nz([table_name].[field3],'0') and get a dialog box asking for table_name.field3

    thanks for your help

why not post your access questions in the access forum
    Code:
    select [table_name].[Field1]
         , [table_name].[field2]
         , IIF(ISNULL([table_name].[field3])
              ,0
              ,[table_name].[field3])
      from table_name
