    Unanswered: Nz Fuction in access

Working with an access query that goes something like this

    select [table_name].[Field1],[table_name].[field2],[table_name].[field3]
    from table

what I want is if field3 is null to show a 0 instead.

I tried using Nz([table_name].[field3],'0') and get a dialog box asking for table_name.field3

    thanks for your help

First, do you really want to return the character "0", or the value zero?

Second, post your entire code, because there are different syntax issues that can cause this.

Third, though this probably won't be difficult to solve, you should post future Access question on the Access forum.
