Unanswered: inserting text into VB Form

    Hi all,

Please advise regarding the following question:

I would like to open an existing VB Form from the code in a text format and insert a data into the Form (opening an existing file and make updates there).

Please advise about possible ways to do it.

    Thanks.

Explain more: Where is the text (or data) you want to insert into the textbox coming from, or is this 'static' information?

I want to open existing form in textual mode or binary mode from code like this:

Open FormPath For Binary Access Read Write As #1

Then I want to insert new properties into this form, so actually i need to insert new lines in the middle of this file. I've tried put #1... but this one overwrite the existing lines.

    Thanks.

    Lightbulb Hello

    Open pathname For mode

Mode can be : Append, Binary, Input, Output, or Random. If unspecified, the file is opened for Random access

    What your looking for is

Open pathname For Append AS #1
