Wink Unanswered: looking for the api to convert oracle logfile to text file

Hi, I'm look for the APIs or tools which can convert oracle logfile to text file format, it's better if it can read the information direct from the logfile device.
Can there anybody help me? thanks.

    LOGMINER should meet your needs.

But logminer is too slow and hard to use. I want to get the API to deal with the information in the log file myself.

What I hear you are saying is that you think you can program better than the Oracle developers.

Good luck on your search for nirvana.

This might help you out but even if you get it working dont forget that the format may change with different oracle versions.
