Question Unanswered: dump databse / load database command

    Hi all,

We have a number of 3590 tape cartridges that are not labeled with run dates. The backups on the tapes were created with 'dump database' command in sybase.

Is there a way to read the headers on the tapes...just to obtain the date the dumps were created, in order for the tapes to be properly labeled.

I have done some research and found that the 'load database' command is probably the one to be used, but I am unsure of the proper syntax, being an AIX admin...and have never used sql / sybase.

Thanks in advance for any help.
