Hi I have this procedure which is part of a package and it goes like this:

************************************************** **********

PROCEDURE GET_PBS_COST(p_ops_off_key IN NUMBER, p_pbs_key IN NUMBER, p_ver_id IN NUMBER, p_var_id IN NUMBER,
p_cycle_key IN NUMBER, return_cur IN OUT RetCurTyp)

AS

BEGIN
get_pbs_cost_inner (p_ops_off_key,p_pbs_key,p_ver_id,p_var_id,p_cycle _key);

OPEN return_cur
FOR SELECT pbs_key, yr, inf_rate, const_dollar, curr_dollar
FROM returntable;
CLOSE return_cur;

DELETE FROM returntable;

END GET_PBS_COST;

************************************************** *********
returntable is a global temporary table. that gets populated by another proc and then truncated by this one...anyways
we want to pass the result set from the cursor back to the front end. the cursor has already being defined in the package header like this:

************************************************** *********
TYPE RetCurTyp IS REF CURSOR RETURN returntable%ROWTYPE;
************************************************** **********
so there are no issues with it.

My question is. if testing this proc from the back end. what sort of value or reserved phrase etc do I pass in for the ref_cursor??

Thanks........
