    Unanswered: Multiple Triggers

    Hi all,

I have two triggers of same type(INSERT). And one is an audit trigger to track the table changes. I want this trigger to execute finally. But oracle documentation says that
"Oracle Fires multiple triggers in an unspecified order, if more than one trigger of the same type exists for a given statement".

If it does as above, i may loose to track the changes done the other trigger to the particular table.

Is there a woraround to set the execution order.

Please give me an idea about this.

    TIA
    Kumar

    Re: Multiple Triggers

If it is possible to include both trigger codes into one trigger in the order you wants the DBMS to execute it would be the best. There is no way to control which trigger should get execute first. In addition including multiple trigger you reduce the performance also.

    Cheers
