    Unanswered: A Finished database =...(

hi guys... i'm now with Access 97 and Excel 97...

Currently i created a Form in Access 97 that runs macros to get external data from Excel 97 file.

Then i did some comparing of the data from this new table with existing table in the Access 97.

Right now i finished my project... my BIGGEST problem now lies with the version of the ACCESS.

The error message says that no inputting of data is allowed due to lower version of tables, forms, macros of ACCESS 97.

Can i know what i can i do to follow up this case?

Do i need to build a brand new program in ACCESS 2000.???

    Please help.... =..(

probably not. try creating a new 2000 database and importing all the objects into it. you might need to set a few things up again (startup properties etc) but it should be ok.

if you can get your hands on a copy of XP this handles it all much better

access a bit funny about these things, espically the earlier versions. but i have 97 and xp copies of the same database and i move between them frequently and with only a few problems. references in your vba code are something you also need to look out for when upgrading.
