Angry Unanswered: Upgrading Default Instance to Clustered Instance

    Hello All,

I've installed numerouse SQL clusters in the past - but I must be missing something basic. For the life of me I cannot get the "Upgrade existing installation to a clustered installation" box from not being greyed out!

I have the data and log files from my user db on the shared storage, moved the system databases to the shared storage. Running W2kAdv with MSCS, which works fine, MSDTC is configured, COMCLUST was run on both nodes. The cluster disk group contains the log and data disks and is named MSSQL.

I am at a loss of why this is happening, please advise.

    Regards,

    Andre

Unhappy not helpful - but thanks

These are links I am familiar with. I have followed the steps - but obviously something else is going on.
