    Unhappy Unanswered: Statistics of connection

    Hi,

I have know the number of connection in my DBs?

For example, the nro. of connection in a day, or the AVG of connection.

    Any idea?

    Thank
    Abel.

    Re: Statistics of connection

    Well, you can use:

db2 get snapshot for database on dbname

command to see some information on connetions, but in order to get daily or avg listing you need to do something else e.g. reset the monitor everyday and record the connections value. You did not mention what version you are running as V8 also has the capability to have the output of event monitors written to tables which you can query for certain condition.

    Hope this helps,
