I am a relatively new Database Developer. I have made some small databases mainly to make my life easier as a pc tech / administrator. I will be under going the process of developing a new payroll database for our company. This is kind of a major project. Definitely the biggest project I have ever done. This database will include hour recording by employees, safety hours vs. deductions vs. awards, production bonus, and quality bonus, etc. My problem is..... Where do I start? I've got a million ideas of how this could look, work and feel, but coming to a point that helps me layout what tables, and relationships I'm going to need is a little frazzling. I'm hoping someone might be able to refer me to some documentation or utilities that would help my brain storming session.
