Unanswered: How to use a GRID on Access Form?

    Hello there,
Have you ever used a Grid on your Access form? If yes, how can I use and bind a MS DataGrid Control Version 6 to a table? Should I put an ADO at the first and connect it to the Database, then set the RecordSource of the Grid?

    Hi hammbakka,

I have never tried the grid control. I always use a sub-form. When set to datasheet mode, the sub-form looks just like a grid, and it's a no-brainer to bind it to a table. Using the master field/child field properties, the sub-form can easily display data filtered by selections on the main form.

If you've never used a sub-form before, I'll be happy to give some basic pointers. Sorry I can't offer any help with the grid control.
