    Unanswered: Out Boolean

    Hi all.

    I have this procedure that takes 2 Numbers and a boolean variable in as parameters. test(p_pnr IN NUMBER, p_ansnr IN NUMBER, p_ok OUT BOOLEAN).

    now, the procedure compilates just fine, but I cant figure out what to use when I run the execute. I know that it should look something like this exec test(2,3*AND THEN WHAT??);

    lol, would be very appreciated for any help on the subject.

    Re: Out Boolean

    Boolean is a pl/sql datatype. So if you would like to use it as an out parameter, you can create an anonymous block, declare a variable, and then use it in the procedure call

    Declare

    lv_result Boolean;

    Begin

    test(2,3,lv_result);

    If lv_result = True Then
    . . .
    Else
    . . .
    End If;

    End;
