I have a PL/SQL stored procedure using to_date function as to_date(variable, 'DD-MON-YYYY'). When the procedure is executed thru SQL+ or SQL Navigator it works fine, but when the same procedure is called using Java, the date returns only last two digits of the year with century as 00. e.g, 1999 is returned as 0099 and 2003 as 0003. Is there any Java application server setting which overwrites the date passed from Oracle? If anyone has any clue on how to solve this issue, please let me know.
