    Unanswered: SQL Connection

I am getting the following error while attempting to test the dsn

Microsoft SQL Server ODBC Driver Version 03.70.0961

    Running connectivity tests...

    Attempting connection
    [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Named Pipes]
    Specified SQL server not found.

    TESTS FAILED!

Can anyone tell me why this error occurs and the solution for it?

Try to install the latest version of MDAC.

Is the server definately set up to take named pipes connections instead of TCP/IP?

My server is in Cluster listening TCP and Named Pipes but I have one damn station where if I include Named Pipes in "Enabled Protocols" nothing works. The message is "Server does not exists or access denied". All others stations works with only "Named Pipes" in Client Network Utility
