Unanswered: how to specify the path of web folder

Hi, does anyone know how to write the path as an argument of
    "create or replace directory" query?

xml files are stored in the following local webdav,
    "http://localhost:8080/home/MYDIR",
and I want to specify this directory like
"create or replace directory MD as 'xdbURIType("/HOME/MYDIR")';"

The message says "directory was created", but oracle doesn't
check the specified directory really exists, so I'm not sure this grammer
    is correct.

    Any comment is welcome.
    thank you.

Keep in mind that when working with Apache
all paths are relative to "DocumentRoot"
    as specified in httpd.conf file.
