Unanswered: Table design for monthly check list

I need to record if a printed reply and an excel.xls file have been recieved for each emp.

my original idea for the tbl design is

    cols:
    empID
    month
    hardcopy (yes/no)
    xls (yes/no)

but this will soon end up with lots of rows 72 emp per month.
i will be using the empid and joining on the empTbl but i was wondering about a better structure

    tks

That sounds pretty straight forward to me. If you don't need to keep

the records forever and ever then you could set up some method such

as a delete query based on the date for pruning the stack. You might

also consider some method of archiving such as exporting a portion to a

text file or another database. I'm sure there are other formats as well

but those just come to mind initially.

    Just my thoughts...

of the records after a certain period of time.
