    Unanswered: Is this ACL OK?

    Hello there,

    I'd like to have the following:
    * three users (xso, volyaweb, postgres) to be able to connect to postgresql from the same machine (local), with password;
    * one user, xso, to be able to access it from 192.168.2.4, with password;
    * all others to be rejected;

    Is the following pg_hba.conf OK?
    local all xso password
    local volyaweb volyaweb password
    local all postgres password
    host all xso 192.168.2.4 255.255.255.1 password
    local all all reject
    host all all reject

    Thanks in advance and cheers,

    Xavier

    No, not at all. I'm just new to Postgresql and I wanted to make sure that the ACL was properly configured by asking more experience users.
