    Unanswered: Global database variable error...

    Hi there,

I am currently working on a db using Access 2000 and I'm getting a error on the line in my main module "Global myDB As DataBase". I haven't got the exact error message in front of me but it says something like that the variable is not defined or invalid or something like that...?

Here is the code that uses the myDB variable:

    Set myDB = CurrentDb
    Set rsCustomer = myDB.OpenRecordset(tCustomer, dbOpenDynaset)

Any ideas on why this is happening? I always thought that the Database variable was just stock standard.

Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers.

    Smile ahh...

Is all good, I found out the problemo after a bit of searching! :-)

The variable is supposed to be declared as DAO.Database not just Database due to 2000 using ADO and Active-X and referenced properly.
