    Unanswered: got trouble configuring oracle

    hello

i've just installed oracle 9 on my computer and i'd like to use sqlplus to learn sql/plsql but it's impossible for me to configure oracle i understand nothing of 'service name', 'protocole', 'server domain', ... and how they all go together...

if someone can help me configuring oracle so that i can start working, that'd be very nice

    thx for your help

My crystal ball is broken & I have no idea what OS in under Oracle.

Let me guess, you are a Windoze user who just points & clicks
without thinking or taking time to RTFM.

If you want to learn SQL go play with Access.
