I have a situation in which I need to create URLs on a page automatically. The files to which these urls point are on a Unix server. The program which creates the urls in on a windows web server. I am using the "filesystemobject" to access these files on the unix server. Depending on which files are created, the urls are generated accordingly.

However, the data on this Unix machine that the filesystem object needs to traverse through is about 5 or 6 GB. So when the script executes on the server it takes about 4 to 5 minutes to execute it.

I want to know if there is any other way of accessing the files on that are there on the unix server.
