Unanswered: NT Sybase to SQL Server 2000

has anyone ever converted a sybase database (in the form of a .dat file) to SQL Server 2000? can this be done through the DTS functions? If so, what driver should I use and how?
    Thank you for your help!

You can't load/import Sybase database file into SQL2K directly. Because they are in different format. However, you can create an ODBC data source for your Sybase database and then you can copy the Sybase tables to SQL2K through the DTS functions. BTW, you should create a new database in SQL2K first if you don't have any databases exist in SQL2K.
