We are on a Windows 2000 platform and have recently upgraded from ASE188.8.131.52 to ASE184.108.40.206, and at the same time took advantage of the ability to run compressed dumps.
We are experiencing problems with excessive CPU usage on a number of the upgraded servers during the running of the dumps. We reverted back to the pre-compressed dumps, but the problem still exists. Bouncing the Backup Server seems to temporarily fix the problem, but it comes back eventually.
Any ideas (or known bugs with Backup Server under ASE220.127.116.11 on Win2K)?
