    Question Unanswered: T-sql Debugger

SQLSVR 2000 comes with a QUERY ANALIZER that can debug T-SQL.

Is there anything with the same functionality (debug T-SQL) available for SQLSVR 7? Can I use SQLSVR 2000 QA with SQLSVR7? If YES, is this downloadable?

    Thanks

    What do you mean debug?

SQL 2k client tools supports 7.0 and 2k out of the box...

What do you need de-bugged? Post it here...

I don't have a code to be debugged right now but I want to have the tools to do so when I need it.

We have SQL7 and I'm using the QA that comes with it, however, it does not have the 2K version functionality to debug T-SQL.

I wonder what that is...never seen, never used (never had too)

I wonder if it fell of the wagon during release....

...actually I found the object browser...if that's what they're taliking about..

Better to generate code form the catalog....easier than dragging and dropping AND repeatable..

Also if you get your hands on the client tools for 2k you can install them now, and still work with your 7.0 dbs...
