    Unanswered: Stored Procedures!

    Hi there

I'm quite new to this whole stored procedure thing, and have hit a bit of a wall. What I'm trying to do is the following:

I have a function written which returns a resultset as a cursor, I can get this to print and it all looks fine. What I want then is another funtion which takes the results(cursor) from the first function and parses it, using the fetch method. I have most of this done. The only problem I'm having is how to set a cursor in the second funtion, to the cursor the first function returns?

Like in psuedocode I mean thisFunction.newCursor = previousFunction.returnedCursor sort of thing.

    any ideas?
