Unanswered: Creating reports/merging data from sql to Word
In Access reports can easily be generated but i need to create a variety of reports in sql server (or from sql server). E.g, details will be gathered from a customer who wants to book a particular course. I need to export or merge this data to a template in Word and email this to the client. Does Sql server have the same utility as Access. If the database was in Access I could do this but would like some advice on how to go about this in sql server.
