    Unanswered: mid function problem

I am trying to use the MID function on a continuous form to display part of a code (which is hidden) for each record.

The problem is I only get the MID function result from the first record returned in each of the following records after the first one.

Have I explained myself clearly enough?

I just tried this and it worked for me. I used an unbound text box for mine and in the control source I put =Mid([<FieldName>], 2,3) and it pulled out the three I expected and matched each record. I also set continuous forms as you did.
Was this what you were trying to do?
