    Unanswered: symbolic links

I'm looking at creating a symbolic link to another symbolic link. Is there anything that I should be wary of or a reason (besides the potential confusion) I shouldn't do this?

    i.e.
    mkdir /export/home/test1
    ln -s /export/home/test1 link2test
    ln -s link2test /a/link/doubleln

    Thanks in advance!

Link to links are very much possible, but the only problem is the confusion they cause. But it sometimes is helpful too. For eg, you can create a link to a file/executable and create multiple links to this link. Incase the location of the file/exe changes, you only have to modify one link. Other links follow the path through the actual link.
    Thanks and Regards
