    Post Unanswered: Queue table creation in Oracle 9.2.0.4

    Hi all

    Recently I had just upgrade my oracle from 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.4, but after the upgrade, I have a problem to create queue table using command below:

    begin
    dbms_aqadm.create_queue_table(queue_table => 'abc',
    queue_payload_type => 'RAW',
    multiple_consumers => TRUE,
    compatible => '8.1.3',
    storage_clause => 'tablespace ABC_TS');
    end;
    /

    The error I get is:

    ERROR:
    ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE

    Anybody have any clue?

    Thanks

    yes... the listener is up. Actually after the error, if I try to sqlplus again using the same user I can get in without any problem. I do another testing with oracle 9.2.0.1, I can run that script to create the queue table without any problem. I am not sure whether is it an oracle bug in 9.2.0.4 or there is some new parameter or setting I need to add in the instance.

    hi,

    maybe it is the compatible parameter which causes the connection to be closed. Try to look at the alert.log for any problems.

    Hope this helps
