Question Unanswered: mysql win2k setup error

    Hello,

I am trying to install MySql on Windows 2000.

    I just downloaded mysql-4.0.15-win.

When I try to execute the SETUP program I obtain an error:
    "The parameter is incorrect"

When I run SETUP.EXE from the command line I obtain:
"The system cannot execute the specified program"

I have downloaded mysql-4.0.15-win from another mirror. Same error.

I have downloaded mysql-3.23.58-win. Same error.

Thank you very much for your help.

    Hello Olivier Miossec and Intranets,

    Thank you for your answers.

I have already solved the problem.
I just downloaded the packaged version without the installer.
I unzipped it and there it was.
    I copied into c:\mysql

    I have tested it superficially.

    I ran
    mysqld --console
    winmysqladmin

    Seems to work.

    Thanks.
