Question Unanswered: Bulk Import of Embedded(Linked) Image Files

Does anybody know how to do a mass import of image files to an access database storing the files as linked embedded objects?. I can import basic properties such as name, date, file path etc but wish to display the images in a continuous form. Which I think requires that they be stored in an OLE Object field.

(We're talking about 600 image files here, so hand cutting & pasting is NOT an option :-)!!!).

    Please, please, please anyone???

Notice that there is a distinction between "linking" and "embedding." A link is simply a reference to where an object is; "embedding" makes a copy of it. (I'm simplifying here.)

You're correct that images, etc, use "object" fields. The 39-cent marketroid name is OLE: Object Linking and Embedding.

And beware: it can become dog-slow.
