Unanswered: Working with ControlSource and RecordSource

I'm creating a database with microsoft access. I created 2 tables (Table 1 and table 2) then i created a form, I included 2 textboxes in this form
the record source of the form is table 1. I would like to include another textbox in this form that has a control source one of the fields of table 2,
do you know how can i do it?

a form has zero or one recordsource. the records in table2 are not present in table1 so they are not present in your recordsource and thus cannot be displayed in a textbox bound to the recordsource of the form.

try making a single query that returns the results you want from table1 and table2. if you succeed, use that query as recordsource for your form.

    Cool

If you don't intend to write text in this TextBox, you can change it into a combo box whose RowSource could be adjusted through a SELECT statement.

Cmbo_name.RowSource="SELECT name, city, birtday from Users;"
