    Unanswered: Oracle and excel

    Hi All,

I'm able to create an excel sheet through pl/sql. I want to create new worksheets in the same excel file and generate reports accordingly. Does anybody has a clue please help me.

    Thx,

    not pl/sql but Access

I do not know how to do it through Pl/SQL but I do through Microsoft Access. Connect to your Oracle db with a ODBC connection, use Acess to query the data you need. Then export that data to an excel spreadsheet.

    VB

If you really want to do Pl/SQL to excel. Look into Visual Basic. I know that with VB you can connect to the Oracle db, run your query (Pl/
SQL or SQL), then import the data into excel.

I don't know the exact code, but if should be fairly straight forward if you know how to program.
