Unanswered: How can I automatically change a string value?

    I have 1 table, 1 form, 1 report.

In my report I want to change the value of one of my string fields.

    example:

    Field Name: "Gender"
    Data Type: Text
Value (for one record) = Male

I want the report to take "Male" and change it to: "Guy" or just "M"

I think an IF Statment will take care of this, however I dont know where or how to put the IF statement.

    Please Help. Thanks,
    Kevin

Into your query you change the Gender column to:
    Gndr: IIf(Gender="Male","Guy","Girl")
