    Unanswered: WINSOCK Program

    Hello All,
I am updating a data into database through some application.
The application allows adding new record.
What I want to do is Whenever some one adds a record in a database every using the application shoud get the information or message immedaitely. How can I do it?
Some one told me that ths can be done using winsock?

    Just try this way

when you install each application (in lan) store the ip or machine name in table and when the updation occurs send a windows message to every client using shell call.

    Hope it works
