Unanswered: Use timer in VBA Module

    Hi Guys

I need to find a timer or a replacement to perform this:

I am executing an VBA/Access function from ASP. And so that i can release the webpage from the access function (so that my users do not have to wait for the function to run), i want to only activate a timer from ASP. Then the ASP will think that the code has finished and will show the page to the user.

Then the timer will fire when the function has ended and will execute the actual function.

Has anyone got any idea how i can do this (or a more reliable method).

    Thanks Si

The timers I have used are on forms that are running. If you need a timer on an asp page, you may want to try a different forum

Set the timer interval property to zero in your vba code, then from asp send out a value to replace the interval. The timer will kick in.

Set the timer interval property 2 a value greater than 0 for example 500 , so that you will be able to repeat an event every about half a secound.

So try to set this Form property form your SAP.
