    Unanswered: Multi-user update

    Hi!

I was asked to create a form that will update an Access database. I did this before but thus time they want multiple users updating the same database. What should I consider when I start building the form? What should I do differently when developing for a multi-user environment?

Microsoft Access has built-in multi-user support and should be able to perform properly with no special application changes. You do need to be aware of how it does this, by locking pages and not individual records, and so on. Microsoft has written a lot about this on its support.microsoft.com site. It does work as documented.
