    Unanswered: FoxBase on Network

I am trying to share an old Foxbase program on a network, but have not been successful. I am not able to open the file on more than one computer at a time. Is it possible to do this, and if so, what do I have to do to make it work?

I guess to start with, how old is the Foxbase program. I mean, do you know what version of Foxbase you're using?

I'm going to really have to dig into the cranial archives, since Foxbase was last developed around when, 1988-ish?

Anyway, you should be able to open the tables shared by issuing:
    USE MyTable SHARED INDEX ....

I think there was also a SET EXCLUSIVE OFF command for that version.
You may be able to use that command at the beginning of your main .PRG to specify all tables are to be shared.
