    Unanswered: Moving Tables from a SMS in a DMS

    I am in the process of database reorganization.

    I have now a Db2 8.1 on a W2000 server.

    I have a database whose backup file is about 1.4Gb.
    All the tables are using now System Managed Tablespaces.

    The database serves 5 different application, each one has its own user/schema.

    I need to build 5 different Database Managed Tablespaces and then I need to move all the tables of each user in their corresponding new DMS.

    So I have succesfully run these commands:

    CONNECT TO FIDES;
    EXPORT TO C:\PROGRA~1\SQLLIB\WEBCPTAB.IXF OF IXF MESSAGES C:\PROGRA~1\SQLLIB\WEBCPTAB.EXM SELECT * FROM FIDESRETE.CUSTOMER;
    IMPORT FROM C:\PROGRA~1\SQLLIB\WEBCPTAB.IXF OF IXF MESSAGES C:\PROGRA~1\SQLLIB\WEBCPTAB.IMM CREATE INTO FIDESRETE.TEST IN FIDESRETE INDEX IN FIDESRETE LONG IN FIDESRETE ;
    CONNECT RESET;

    These commands have cloned the FIDESRETE.CUSTOMER table in the
    FIDESRETE.TEST table.

    So at this point I should:
    - DROP TABLE FIDESRETE.CUSTOMER
    - export/import again from FIDESRETE.TEST to FIDESRETE.CUSTOMER

    Is there a way to avoid to do 2 export/import ?

    Thks in advance
