Well this a very vague question. There are tons of white papers on security and methods that can be used to prevent unauthorized entry. Simply having a login id and password surely cannot guarantee a secure application.

Is it possible to protect files from being modified or removed that have been checked into a database? I have already created user passwords and a database password to prevent unauthorized entry. My co-worker is saying that they can be tampered with as long as the user knows where to look.
Is this true? If so what can be done to protect the files. PLEASE HELP.
