Post Unanswered: SQL Server 2000 Synchronization

    Hello All.

I need help in Database Synchronization. I am using SQL server 2000 on windows 2000 server. I have a webserver and a backup server. I want to synchronize these two servers..what should i do to achieve..can anybody give me the step by step procedure that i can follow to make the two servers in Sync. Do i have to write any scripts or code or is it just using the Replication Tool in Sql Server..Please let me know in detail what to do? Eagerly waiting for replies.

Thankyou all..you all are really helpful

    Re: SQL Server 2000 Synchronization

If it is a one time process, use backup and restore.

If you need them periodically kept in sync, use replication.
